Position Overview
The Digital Sales Representative will play a crucial role in increasing digital subscriptions and expanding MCL’s reach across Tanzania. This role requires a blend of sales skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for digital media. You will be responsible for developing strategies to attract new customers and converting leads into digital product subscribers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Digital Subscription Sales: Identify opportunities and convert leads into paying subscribers for MCL’s digital products, including e-papers and online subscriptions.
- Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement targeted strategies to increase digital product reach and circulation across various platforms.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing clients and engage prospective customers to drive sales.
- Product Promotion: Actively promote MCL’s digital products such as e-papers, mobile apps, and subscription services to boost visibility and sales.
- Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, with a goal of meeting and exceeding monthly targets.
- Customer Feedback: Collect and provide insights on customer feedback to help improve the product offerings and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the marketing and editorial teams to execute successful digital campaigns.
- Monitor Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, with a focus on digital subscriptions or media sales being a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Candidates must own a smartphone and be familiar with digital platforms and tools.
- Location: Applicants should preferably reside in the region they are applying for.
