Job Purpose

As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for managing relationships with banks and generating new business leads for Britam's Bancassurance products. Your role will involve securing new clients, managing existing customer accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction, all while achieving set production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Participate in securing new business through banking partners, focusing on expanding the Bancassurance portfolio.
  • Customer Management: Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring their documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Marketing & Training: Conduct marketing activities for Bancassurance products and train bank officers on how to effectively sell Britam's products.
  • Retention & Renewals: Follow up on renewals to optimize business retention and ensure premium collections meet targets.
  • Customer Support: Handle any customer complaints, whether written or verbal, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.

Key Performance Measures

  • Achievement of production and sales targets.
  • High levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Timely premium collections.

Working Relationships

  • Internal: Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager-Bancassurance and other departments for smooth operations.
  • External: Maintain and develop relationships with banks and Britam customers.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field (preferred).
  • Insurance Certification (CII or equivalent).
  • At least four years of experience in a similar position within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and regulatory requirements.
