Position Overview: Front Desk Agent
Johari Rotana is currently seeking dynamic and self-motivated professionals for the role of Front Desk Agent. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring a memorable stay for guests through exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, from arrival to departure.
- Greet guests by name (when known) and escort them to their rooms, ensuring a warm welcome.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and operational hours to assist guest inquiries effectively.
- Accurately manage Front Desk cashiering standards, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Process guest accounts from check-in to check-out, including accurate posting of incidental charges.
- Safeguard guest privacy by protecting sensitive information.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- A degree in hospitality or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in the Front Office Department within a hotel is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of an additional language is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, coupled with proficiency in computer systems (experience with Opera is a plus).
