Role Overview

As a Program Officer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of nutrition and gender components of the community program. You'll work closely with local government bodies, community members, and various stakeholders to drive impactful nutrition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Advisor – Programs and Research to coordinate program activities.
  • Provide technical support to District Nutrition Officers and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in the capacity building of community health workers.
  • Ensure timely submission of program reports and adherence to project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in nutrition programs.
  • Strong community engagement skills and experience working with government institutions and civil society organizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in both Kiswahili and English.
