CRDB Bank is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager for Corporate Banking to support its growth and strategic initiatives in the Tanzanian market. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual passionate about financial analysis, product development, and the banking industry.
Job Purpose
As the Relationship Manager, you'll be responsible for growing both On and Off-Balance Sheets, managing interest expenses, and supporting new product development.
Your work will directly impact the strategy and initiatives within the Corporate Banking Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis to inform pricing, rates, and margins.
- Collaborate with Treasury to track market interest rates and implement strategies that reduce expenses on Corporate Deposit Portfolios.
- Ensure the transactional banking team meets relationship and sales targets.
- Assist in managing interest expenses and increasing profitability for each corporate client.
- Achieve budget revenue targets in partnership with the Transaction Banking team.
- Generate monthly reports on business performance, including account activity and balance sheet movements.
- Propose product enhancements to drive Transaction Banking sales and capabilities.
- Stay updated on market trends and transfer pricing impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Financial Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Knowledge of product development and financial analysis.
- Background in commercial banking or financial performance and analysis.
- Project management skills and knowledge of regulatory requirements in liquidity and balance sheet management.
- Proficiency in selling and negotiation, along with strong decision-making skills.
