Position Overview:

The Safety and Risk Control Officer plays a vital role in developing, implementing, and monitoring safety and security protocols at our facility. The role includes regular safety audits, risk assessments, training, and emergency response coordination. It’s a chance to work closely with our management team, ensuring compliance with OSHA and municipal standards while promoting a proactive approach to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
  • Train employees on safety protocols and maintain records of all incidents and training.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related fields and 3+ years of safety experience in manufacturing. Certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus. SBC is particularly interested in female candidates to support a balanced and diverse team environment.
