To support its resource mobilization efforts, NM-AIST invites applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanians for the position of Senior Resource Mobilization and Strategic Management Officer.
Job Details
Position: Senior Resource Mobilization Officer
Employment Type: Full-time (3-month contract with a possibility of renewal based on performance)
Location: NM-AIST Campus, Tengeru, Arusha
Salary: TZS 3,500,000 per month (before statutory deductions)
Reporting To: Centre Leader, CENIT@EA
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement strategies to mobilize resources from donors, partners, and other funding sources.
2. Draft and submit compelling grant proposals and project funding applications.
3. Monitor and manage the utilization of funds in compliance with financial regulations.
4. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with donors, stakeholders, and the community.
5. Promote the center's mission through strategic marketing and public relations.
6. Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities.
7. Provide regular reports on the progress of resource mobilization strategies.
8. Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in fundraising activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Master's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Project Management, or a related field.
Extensive experience in grant writing, fundraising, and strategic partnerships.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in using digital platforms and social media for marketing purposes.
Awareness of legal and ethical requirements in fundraising activities.
Ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
