Core Responsibilities of the Role
As a Manager of Out/Co-source Internal Audit Services, you will:
Shape ICT Audit Strategy:
- Design risk-focused ICT audit strategies addressing emerging technologies and key ICT risks.
- Build and manage a global pool of subject matter experts to execute ICT audit plans.
Drive Vendor Excellence:
- Develop robust Terms of Reference (ToR) to engage the best consultants.
- Lead technical evaluations, vendor selection, and negotiate contracts in collaboration with UNICEF’s Supply Division.
Oversee ICT Audit Engagements:
- Coordinate consultants’ work to align with UNICEF’s strategic goals.
- Ensure audit findings and recommendations are actionable, aligned, and accurately recorded in the Audit Management System, TeamMate+.
Lead Capacity Building and Innovation:
- Develop tools and standards for evaluating ICT-related risks.
- Contribute to internal capacity-building efforts and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate?
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
Education
- Advanced university degree in business administration, finance, accounting, ICT, or related fields.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CISSP, CPA, CA) may substitute for the advanced degree requirement.
Experience
- 8+ years in internal/external auditing or ICT service management.
- Proven expertise in ICT risk assessments, audit frameworks, and vendor management.
- Experience in international organizations, especially UN agencies, is an asset.
Skills
- Proficient in navigating complex ICT ecosystems and addressing cybersecurity risks.
- Skilled in managing ICT audits and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with tools like TeamMate+ is advantageous.
Languages
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN language is a plus.
