Role Purpose
The Corporate Manager will oversee and lead the accounting team, ensuring the efficiency and quality of financial and corporate processes. The role involves managing financial audits, mitigating risks, and implementing strategies to enhance overall performance in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Managerial Responsibilities
- Independently manage statutory and tax audits.
- Provide leadership to the teams under your supervision by setting targets, giving direction, and ensuring objectives are met.
- Train and guide team leaders and members to enhance efficiency and accuracy in operations.
- Collaborate with departments to document and visualize operational processes.
- Develop and execute financial strategies and budgets aligned with the organization's goals.
- Supervise monthly financial closings, ensuring accuracy in complex matters, and coordinate with HQ managers.
- Prepare and present monthly divisional reports and recommendations to the General Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Formulate and implement organizational policies and oversee their execution.
- Organize annual managerial meetings and share outcomes with the company team.
Functional Responsibilities
- Act as a key advisor on financial risks, including legal, tax, and contractual matters, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze monthly branch financial performance against budgets and trends, proposing measures for improvement.
- Stay updated with professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networks.
- Uphold the Professional Code of Conduct, ensuring ethical behavior, integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity in all operations.
- Monitor the company’s adherence to government regulations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or ACCA certification is mandatory.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a high-volume accounting environment.
- 5 years of experience in managerial accounting, including budget preparation and management reporting.
- A minimum of 3 years managing a team of at least five members.

Required Competencies
Technical Skills
- CPA or ACCA certification is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and familiarity with Sage.

- Expertise in managerial accounting and tax regulations (domestic and international).
- Strong understanding of procurement and HR principles.
- Exceptional Excel and Word skills.
- Data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
