Exciting Opportunity: AOC Quality Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Coastal Air, a premier regional airline renowned for its commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, is inviting applications for the position of AOC Quality Manager. This leadership role is pivotal in upholding our Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and ensuring full compliance with aviation standards and regulations.
Your Role at Coastal Air
As the AOC Quality Manager, you will:
- Champion the Quality Management System (QMS) to align with aviation regulations and best practices.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory bodies, including TCAA, ICAO, and IATA.
- Lead audits and inspections, reinforcing adherence to operational and safety protocols.
- Drive quality enhancement initiatives across all departments.
- Act as the liaison with aviation authorities, auditors, and key stakeholders.
- Address non-conformities proactively, implementing robust corrective actions.
- Train and empower teams on quality assurance and compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a passionate aviation professional with:
- A bachelor’s degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation quality management or a similar capacity.
- Expert knowledge of aviation standards, including ICAO, IATA, and TCAA regulations.
- Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities.
- Certification in aviation quality systems or safety management (advantageous).
