Position: IT Audit Manager
Location: KPMG Tanzania

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors to oversee a dynamic portfolio of IT audits.
- Lead small teams in delivering comprehensive IT audits as part of financial statement audits and controls reviews, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivering exceptional client service.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth within audit engagements and across non-audit client segments.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest regulatory and quality standards.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management for junior team members, including delivering training and developing guidance materials.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable consulting/audit firm or a dynamic team environment in sectors such as Financial Services, Insurance, or Consumer Markets.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CPA, or similar qualifications.
- Proven experience in managing complex technology processes and controls assurance engagements.
- Hands-on experience in IT audits within internal or external audit frameworks, including SOC1/2 reporting.
- Familiarity with auditing emerging technologies like cloud computing and robotic process automation is an added advantage.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of business processes and their intersection with IT controls.
- Excellent technical and business communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to assess complex IT risks and controls, connecting them to broader business impacts.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, coordination, and planning capabilities.
