To strengthen our credit risk management framework, we are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the position of Senior Manager, Credit Risk. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the bank’s assets and optimizing credit processes for sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Assessment:

    • Perform in-depth underwriting for diverse loan products and prepare comprehensive credit reports and presentations.
    • Oversee credit facility analysis, evaluation, and underwriting processes for both prospective and existing customers.
  • Collaboration & Structuring:

    • Partner with relationship managers and credit analysts to assess credit opportunities, identify risks, and recommend alternative deal structures.
    • Guide the design of covenants, terms, and conditions for credit facilities, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Research & Compliance:

    • Conduct research on borrowers and industry trends to support informed decision-making.
    • Ensure all underwriting activities comply with internal policies, central bank regulations, and other applicable guidelines.
  • Portfolio Management:

    • Lead annual reviews, modifications, renewals, and new loan assessments, ensuring minimal adjustments from the credit committee.
    • Communicate risk ratings and justifications effectively to relationship managers and decision-making committees.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Certification as a professional accountant or credit underwriter from a recognized institution.
  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 8 years in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure and independently manage responsibilities.
    • Proven track record in driving performance and delivering results.
