IT Business Solutions Analyst

Purpose

This role serves as the primary liaison between the business community and IT. As the IT Business Solutions Analyst, you will evaluate the technological needs of various business functions, ensuring they align with JTI's strategic goals. You will collaborate with business power users to guide IT change requests and support business transformation initiatives in compliance with our corporate governance standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, using your commercial knowledge to understand and assess their technology needs.
  • Collaborate with the IT Business Solutions Manager to ensure alignment with business priorities.

2. Business Transformation & Change Management

  • Identify potential business improvements and assist users in raising IT change requests to support transformation efforts.
  • Ensure all requests adhere to JTI's IT change management process.

3. Business Analysis

  • Lead the functional and technical analysis of business transformation initiatives.
  • Document business requirements, ensuring compliance with JTI quality standards, and translate them into technical specifications.

4. Solution Design, Delivery & Project Management

  • Provide coordination during solution evaluation and selection phases.

5. Security, Continuity & Governance

  • Monitor and support business initiatives requiring technology implementation, ensuring IT involvement from the outset.

6. Supplier Management

  • Foster effective relationships with internal IT service providers and assist in selecting third-party IT suppliers for solution delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an IT-related role, preferably within a multinational company.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with FMCG industry processes is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficiency in at least two of the following:
      • Mobile app development
      • Cloud SaaS solutions
      • Digital route-to-market technologies
      • Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
    • Experience in business requirements analysis.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
