We are seeking a Call Centre Specialist – Agricultural Mechanization to bridge the gap between our customers and the company, ensuring that every customer receives exceptional support and expertise in agricultural machinery and mechanization.
Role Overview
The Call Centre Specialist will play a critical role in addressing customer inquiries, resolving technical issues, and promoting Agricom’s agricultural machinery and solutions. This position demands a proactive, customer-focused individual with a strong understanding of agricultural equipment and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support and Inquiry Handling
- Respond to customer inquiries through calls, emails, or other channels, providing detailed information on products like tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and more.
- Clarify product availability, pricing, features, and specifications while maintaining professionalism.
Technical Assistance and Troubleshooting
- Provide remote technical support to customers experiencing machinery issues, offering step-by-step guidance for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Educate customers on proper equipment use and maintenance to optimize machinery performance and durability.
Sales Support and Product Promotion
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable agricultural machinery tailored to their operations.
- Promote Agricom’s offerings, including new products, upgrades, and additional services like warranties and financing.
Customer Education and Best Practices
- Offer insights into agricultural mechanization benefits and best practices, including seasonal equipment needs, safety protocols, and calibration tips.
Documentation and Feedback
- Record detailed customer interactions, issues, resolutions, and follow-ups in the company’s CRM system.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences, product performance, and recurring issues to enhance services and solutions.
Problem Resolution and Follow-Up
- Address customer concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction by following up on unresolved issues.
- Build lasting relationships by delivering exceptional service and demonstrating empathy.
Collaboration with Teams
- Liaise with sales, service, and technical teams to deliver accurate and timely support.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts replacements as needed.
Quality and Compliance
- Uphold high standards in customer interaction, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Meet and exceed performance targets such as call response time, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in customer service or technical support, ideally within the agricultural or machinery industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of agricultural machinery is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of agricultural equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in CRM software, call center tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking under pressure.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
- Certifications in agricultural machinery, mechanical maintenance, or technical support.
- Customer service or call center certifications are an added advantage.
