About the Role
As a Partnership Facilitator I, you will serve as a vital bridge between Compassion and local church partners, fostering relationships built on trust, respect, and collaboration. This is an entry-level professional role designed to strengthen local ownership and enhance church capacity in ministering to children and youth. Under the guidance of experienced facilitators and supervisors, you will play a key role in implementing Compassion’s Partner Management core process, ensuring sustainable and impactful ministry.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Faith & Advocacy: Maintain a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ, exemplifying Christ-like behavior in all interactions. Be an advocate for child protection and prioritize the well-being of children in all decisions.
✔ Church Partnerships & Capacity Building:
- Support churches in developing sustainable child and youth programs.
- Assist in mobilizing local resources, caregivers, and community influencers to strengthen ministry impact.
- Promote collaboration and resource-sharing among nearby churches.
✔ Program Cycle Support:
- Guide churches through needs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases.
- Work alongside other Church Facing Team (CFT) members to ensure church partners receive necessary resources and training.
✔ Cluster Coordination & Strategic Engagement:
- Assist in overseeing a small cluster of church partners, ensuring alignment with Compassion’s mission.
- Facilitate peer learning opportunities and initiatives that promote child and youth development.
✔ Child Protection Commitment:
- Support church partners in implementing child protection standards and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Help churches develop safe and healthy environments for children and youth.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Faith: A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to Christian ministry.
✅ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.
✅ Experience: At least 2 years in a related field (equivalent education/training may be considered).
✅ Skills: Strong facilitation, mobilization, and relationship-building skills.
✅ Commitment to Compassion’s Mission & Culture: Upholding Compassion’s core cultural behaviors and ministry philosophies in all aspects of work.
✅ Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
Work Environment
🏢 Office-Based: Standard office setting with periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
🛫 Travel: Up to 50% travel required within the region.
