Tanganyika Instant Coffee Co. Ltd (TANICA), an esteemed producer of instant coffee since 1963 and headquartered in Bukoba Municipality, Kagera Region, is inviting qualified and experienced Tanzanians to apply for the following roles:
1. Production Supervisor (1 Position)
Salary Scale: TS 3
Reports To: Production Superintendent
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of production processes.
- Oversee production shifts across various centers.
- Ensure consistent quality of the products.
- Achieve production targets effectively.
- Adhere to factory maintenance schedules.
- Comply with Food Safety Management System protocols.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Production Superintendent.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
2. Chief Internal Auditor (1 Position)
Salary Scale: TS 5
Reports To: Board of Directors (directly) and General Manager (administratively)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Annual Audit Plan.
- Evaluate company policies, procedures, and systems to safeguard resources.
- Ensure adherence to accounting and auditing standards.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and operating systems.
- Identify, analyze, and advise management on mitigating business risks.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Auditing.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA(T), ACCA, or ACA.
- Registration with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing or related functions.
- At least 35 years old, with high integrity.
3. Finance Manager (1 Position)
Salary Scale: TS 5
Reports To: General Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the accounting department.
- Advise management and the Board on financial matters.
- Prepare financial reports (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual).
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements.
- Maintain high accounting standards and manage budgets effectively.
- Design and enforce financial internal controls.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Holder of Associate/Fellow CPA(T) or ACCA credentials.
- Registration with NBAA.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum age of 35, with exceptional integrity.
4. Warehouse Clerk (1 Position)
Salary Scale: TS 2
Reports To: Warehouse Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clerical and accounting tasks, including maintaining store records.
- Conform to Food Safety Management System standards.
- Execute other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Officer.
Qualifications and Experience:
- General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) and a certificate in Stores Management or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
5. Assistant Procurement Officer (1 Position)
Salary Scale: TS 3
Reports To: Procurement Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Support procurement processes, supplier evaluations, and inventory management.
- Prepare purchase orders and assess supplier performance.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies.
- Assist in preparing procurement reports and cost analyses.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Procurement Officer.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Registration with PSPTB.
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong integrity and professionalism.
6. Assistant Accountant (1 Position)
Salary Scale: TS 3
Reports To: Financial Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounts up to the trial balance.
- Assist in creating financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
- Support compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the Financial Accountant.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions.
7. Machine Operator (2 Positions)
Salary Scale: TS 2
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean machines before production.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain operation logs.
- Conduct performance tests and ensure product quality.
- Execute other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GCSE with a certificate in mechanical, electrical operations, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
