Position: Operations and Administration Manager
About SAT
Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania (SAT) is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices and environmental conservation. We are seeking an experienced Operations and Administration Manager to enhance our operations and administrative capabilities, contributing to our mission-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage and optimize daily operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational policies.
- Administrative Management: Supervise administrative functions, including record-keeping, office management, and interdepartmental coordination.
- Financial Coordination: Support budget planning, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial procedures align with SAT’s goals.
- Human Resources Management: Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build and maintain a high-performing team.
- Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies and procedures to drive productivity and compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with partners, donors, and stakeholders to support SAT’s mission and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant postgraduate qualification is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of consecutive experience in accounting operations and administrative management, preferably in the NGO sector.
- Competencies:
- Strong financial management and budgeting expertise.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software and management information systems.
- Passion for sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation.
