We are seeking a talented, driven, and experienced individual to join our team as a Digital Reporter.

Job Purpose

As a Digital Reporter, you will be at the forefront of creating, curating, and delivering high-quality, engaging, and timely news content for digital platforms, ensuring impactful audience engagement and robust digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation

    • Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles.
    • Produce videos and multimedia content tailored for digital platforms.

  2. Breaking News Coverage

    • Monitor and report real-time breaking news.
    • Provide timely updates and comprehensive coverage.

  3. Digital Publishing

    • Manage and update digital content across websites and social media.
    • Utilize content management systems and scheduling tools effectively.

  4. Research and Reporting

    • Conduct thorough research, interviews, and fact-checking to ensure accuracy.
    • Maintain high standards of credibility in all published content.

  5. Audience Engagement

    • Interact with readers and social media followers.
    • Foster community engagement and expand audience reach.

  6. Collaboration

    • Work closely with editors, photographers, videographers, and designers to create cohesive and compelling stories.

  7. Analytics and Performance Tracking

    • Monitor web traffic and engagement using tools like Google Analytics.
    • Use data insights to refine content strategies for better reach and impact.

  8. Amplifying Content Reach

    • Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to enhance content visibility.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in digital content creation and reporting.
