We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly competent Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing and improving our financial operations.
Role Overview
The Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations, and support strategic financial planning. This position is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining precise financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, records, and reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting ledgers and financial databases.
- Reconcile financial accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and receivables.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Support audits and facilitate accurate and timely tax filings.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely salary payments.
- Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial data promptly.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to aid management in decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role (preferred).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CPA or ACCA certification will be an added advantage.
