Role Overview
As a Customer Experience Executive, you will be responsible for driving exceptional customer service, managing operational efficiency, and contributing to the branch's overall performance. You will be an integral part of enhancing the customer journey, resolving complaints, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Growth (20%)
✔️ Build strong relationships with customers to identify future banking needs.
✔️ Cross-sell banking products that align with customer needs.
✔️ Support the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring seamless account setup.
✔️ Promote ABSA’s products through in-branch marketing initiatives, special campaigns, and promotions.
✔️ Achieve sales and service targets while ensuring operational efficiency.
2. Customer Service Excellence (60%)
✔️ Act as a customer champion, handling complaints and providing fast resolutions.
✔️ Maintain high service standards across all customer touchpoints.
✔️ Ensure banking hall efficiency, directing customers to appropriate service points.
✔️ Work closely with internal teams (Operations, KYC Helpdesk) to streamline processes.
✔️ Oversee queue management systems (Q-matic) to enhance branch efficiency.
3. Risk & Compliance (5%)
✔️ Conduct monthly customer query and complaint trend analysis, creating action plans for improvement.
✔️ Ensure adherence to banking policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
✔️ Conduct system administration tasks, including user maintenance.
4. Leadership & Contribution to Team Success (10%)
✔️ Support and deputize for the Branch Operations Manager/Team Leader when needed.
✔️ Provide constructive feedback to enhance branch performance.
✔️ Share knowledge, expertise, and best practices across teams.
5. Branch Administration & Operations (5%)
✔️ Oversee the day-to-day banking hall appearance, ensuring a professional environment.
✔️ Provide feedback on the performance of external service providers (courier, cleaning, security).
What We’re Looking For
A. Education & Qualifications
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Banking, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
B. Experience & Skills
✔️ Proven experience in customer service and operations management in a banking environment.
✔️ Strong understanding of banking policies, risk, and compliance regulations.
✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔️ Strong problem-solving ability and customer-centric approach.
✔️ Ability to handle escalations and complex customer interactions professionally.
✔️ Proficiency in banking systems (e.g., Brains, Winfos) is an added advantage.
