Role Overview
As a Warehouse Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage and dispatching of motorbikes while maintaining strict compliance with Watu’s policies and procedures.
This position requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, maintaining inventory controls, and ensuring a secure and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
- Ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations, reporting discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee inventory tracking, stock levels, and dispatch processes.
- Ensure all safety measures are adhered to, including double-locking doors, securing valuable assets, and maintaining security protocols.
✅ Team Leadership & Planning
- Lead and coordinate the warehouse team to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly objectives are met.
- Supervise and control sales transactions within the warehouse, ensuring targets are achieved.
- Conduct assessments on all bikes available for sale, ensuring quality control.
✅ Security & Compliance
- Implement warehouse systems as directed by the Operations Control Manager.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and business regulations.
- Monitor and report any security risks, warehouse incidents, or equipment malfunctions.
✅ Operational Excellence & Reporting
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, overseeing general maintenance needs.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management on warehouse performance.
- Uphold professional standards, especially in challenging or high-pressure situations.
What We Are Looking For
📌 Qualifications & Experience
✔ Diploma in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or similar).
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
✔ Experience in warehouse management is an added advantage.
