Minjingu Mines and Fertilizer Ltd (MMFL), a renowned leader in mining and fertilizer production in Tanzania, is on the lookout for highly motivated professionals to strengthen our Logistics team. We are currently hiring for a Logistics Officer position at our Minjingu facility.
📍 Job Location: MMFL Factory, Minjingu
🏡 Accommodation: Provided within the company township at Minjingu
Position: Logistics Officer (1 Vacancy)
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Oversee and execute truck trips according to the logistics plan
✔ Monitor vehicle movement in real-time and promptly report exceptions to the Fleet Manager
✔ Coordinate logistics between Finished Goods (FG) and Raw Material (RM) stores, drivers, suppliers, and customers
✔ Optimize logistics efficiency by maximizing revenue through return loads
✔ Assist in preparing daily delivery and exception reports for management
✔ Maintain accurate trip records and documentation
✔ Provide support during emergencies and address transit-related issues
✔ Assist in the recruitment of drivers and helpers
Qualifications & Experience Required:
✔ Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or fleet management
✔ Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
✔ Familiarity with logistics software and fleet tracking tools
