Job Summary
As a Mortgage Sales Officer, you will play a key role in driving mortgage product sales, providing exceptional customer service, and managing a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, cross-selling financial products, and ensuring compliance with risk and operational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Develop and implement strategies to drive mortgage sales.
- Identify potential clients through networking, referrals, and direct marketing.
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend tailored mortgage solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on mortgage application processes and eligibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Proactively manage and follow up on applications to ensure smooth processing.
- Collaborate with developers, real estate agents, and other partners to enhance mortgage offerings.
Portfolio Management & Risk Control
- Monitor and manage the mortgage portfolio to minimize risks and maximize growth.
- Conduct periodic reviews of customer accounts to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Work closely with credit and risk control teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve delinquent accounts in collaboration with the Collections team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
Collaboration & Operational Excellence
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Retail Credit and Risk Control for seamless application processing.
- Support marketing campaigns and training initiatives for mortgage products.
- Ensure timely renewal of property insurance and valuation reports for mortgaged properties.
- Maintain and report mortgage sales performance metrics.
