Location: Kilombero Sugar Company Limited
Are you passionate about agricultural development and fostering strong relationships with growers? Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL) is looking for a dedicated Growers Support Officer to drive sustainable growth and enhance our engagement with sugarcane farmers.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Ensure compliance with group standards and best practices in grower relationships
✅ Develop and execute farm visit programs, identifying areas for improvement and providing expert advice to growers
✅ Offer technical assistance to enhance productivity, sustainability, and profitability while exploring new farming areas
✅ Monitor and manage cane supply agreements with growers and grower bodies
✅ Organize training sessions and field days to promote knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement in sugarcane farming
✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial, medium-scale, and small-scale growers
✅ Implement cutting-edge technology for efficient cane supply and monitoring
✅ Manage the grower support budget and maintain an up-to-date grower database
✅ Engage with local communities, government, and industry stakeholders on sugarcane agriculture matters
Minimum Requirements:
🎓 Education: Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Social Science, or Community Development Studies
📌 Experience: At least 2 years in the cane-growing industry
🔍 Skills: Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
