Position: Admissions Officer

📍 Location: Dar es Salaam
📌 Reporting to: Head of Admissions

Role Overview

The Admissions Officer plays a crucial role in student recruitment and enrollment, ensuring that all admissions processes align with the school’s vision, policies, and academic standards. This role involves working closely with parents, students, and school leadership to facilitate a seamless admissions experience.


Key Responsibilities

Student Recruitment & Enrollment

  • Implement strategic admissions initiatives to attract and enroll high-caliber students.
  • Ensure all admission policies and enrollment procedures are followed consistently.
  • Manage the student application and placement testing process efficiently.

Parent & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for parental inquiries regarding school admissions.
  • Arrange and coordinate school tours, visits, and parent meetings with Head Teachers.
  • Keep parents informed on admission status, application progress, and school placements.

Events & Outreach

  • Organize and participate in admissions events, open days, and school fairs to promote AKES, T.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance the school’s outreach strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

📌 Educational Background:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

📌 Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in admissions or student recruitment within an educational institution.
✔ Experience working in an international or bilingual school is an added advantage.
✔ Strong customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
