About the FAST Loan Program
Finance Accelerating Savings Group Transformation (FAST) is an innovative, cashless, digital, and paperless credit solution. The program provides loans to savings groups, enabling them to distribute funds internally according to their agreed constitution.

📌 Position: Field Officer Supervisor
📌 Reports To: Business Center Manager
Role Purpose
The Field Officer Supervisor will be responsible for leading, supporting, and monitoring field officers to ensure effective implementation of the FAST loan program. This includes setting targets, coordinating training, overseeing loan performance, and ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
Field Officer Supervision & Performance Monitoring
- Establish performance targets and activity plans for field officers.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate field officers’ performance.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance efficiency.
Training & Capacity Building
- Identify training needs for field officers, business center managers, and other staff.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture department to plan and facilitate training sessions.
FAST Loan Monitoring & Operations
- Oversee the implementation and performance of FAST loans and financial services.
- Develop a strategic rollout plan, including location, staffing, and budget considerations.
- Work closely with IT to ensure digital tools such as Kobo, ODK, LMMS, and mobile money platforms are fully operational.
- Ensure accurate reporting of FAST loans in the core banking system and Bankbi.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the hiring and onboarding of field officers in collaboration with People & Culture.
Impact Assessment & Reporting
- Ensure timely submission of quarterly client reports.
- Coordinate and support impact surveys as required.
- Collect and share insights and best practices with other savings group microfinance institutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
🎓 Education:
A Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields:
✔ Rural Development
✔ Sales & Marketing
✔ Business Administration
✔ Economics
✔ Community Development
🌍 Additional Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to work in remote areas.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle driving license.
- Strong understanding of Village Savings and Lending Systems or the S4T model.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
