Role Overview

As a Reservation & Ticketing Agent, you will play a key role in handling reservations, ticketing, and sales inquiries while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will work closely with our sales and airport teams to provide efficient service to Oman Air passengers and travel partners.


Key Responsibilities

🎟️ Reservation & Ticketing Support

✔ Handle ticketing, reservation requests, and telephone sales inquiries efficiently.
✔ Provide accurate flight details, fare information, and booking assistance to passengers and travel agents.
✔ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.

📞 Customer Service & Sales Assistance

✔ Proactively manage inbound calls, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with Oman Air guests and travel agents.
✔ Address customer queries, booking modifications, and special requests professionally.

✈️ Operational Coordination

✔ Work closely with airport teams to minimize the impact of disruptions on customers.
✔ Follow up on business continuity matters, ensuring smooth service delivery.
✔ Provide support on ticketing-related issues, including refunds, flight schedule changes, and group bookings.

📊 Administrative & Technical Support

✔ Support sales teams in handling trade communications, Frequent Flyer membership queries, and EC261-related cases.
✔ Maintain accurate documentation and assist with feedback management.
✔ Stay updated on GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and airline reservation trends.

✔ Carry out any additional duties assigned by management.


What We’re Looking For

🎓 Education & Certification

Two-year college diploma in any discipline OR
IATA / Sabre / Galileo / Amadeus certification with a Secondary School certificate.

🏆 Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in English (spoken & written) – additional language skills are an advantage.
✔ Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced GDS knowledge (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
✔ Understanding of aviation industry standards and reservation processes.
