We are currently looking for a passionate and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead and enhance our HR operations. This role is pivotal in shaping our workplace culture, talent acquisition strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.
The HR Manager will work closely with the Managing Director, driving HR excellence through recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and policy development. If you are a proactive, people-oriented leader with a strategic mindset, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management to attract and retain top talent.
🔹 Develop and implement HR policies and best practices aligned with school values.
🔹 Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and workplace safety regulations.
🔹 Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures with professionalism.
🔹 Foster a positive and inclusive work culture through employee engagement and wellness programs.
🔹 Administer HRIS systems, payroll, benefits, and performance management frameworks.
🔹 Provide guidance to school leadership on workforce planning and HR strategies.
🔹 Drive initiatives for continuous learning, professional development, and career growth.
Required Qualifications & Skills
🎓 Education & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
✔ HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
✔ 3+ years of managerial HR experience, preferably in an educational institution.
📝 Skills & Competencies
✔ Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and compliance regulations.
✔ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
✔ Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll management, and employee records handling.
✔ Strategic mindset with the ability to develop innovative HR solutions in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills to navigate dynamic challenges.
✔ High ethical standards and discretion in handling confidential information.
✔ A passion for learning and an appreciation for reading books is a plus!
