Position: Storeperson
As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse and supply chain functions. You will be responsible for safeguarding and managing inventory, ensuring timely material availability, and maintaining a high standard of safety and organization within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Efficiently receive, issue, and dispatch warehouse materials with accuracy.
- Maintain inventory control by conducting stocktakes and cyclic counts.
- Ensure accurate data entry into the Pronto ERP system.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies to the supervisor.
✅ Equipment & Operations
- Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, and integrated tool carriers for material handling.
- Load, unload, and transport materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Keep the warehouse and external storage areas organized and well-maintained.
✅ Compliance & Security
- Adhere to AUMS Geofields policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Assist in ensuring warehouse security and stock integrity.
- Maintain strict safety and environmental protocols in alignment with company standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
🎓 Education & Certification
- Completion of secondary education.
- Forklift, Integrated Tool Carrier, and Telehandler certification or proof of competency.
- Current Tanzanian driver’s license (Manual).
- Registered with the PSPTB (Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board).
💼 Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment within mining, earthmoving, or heavy industries.
- Proficiency in Pronto ERP or experience with similar inventory management systems.
🛠 Technical & Soft Skills
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Fluent in both English and Swahili.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
