About CCBRT:
Comprehensive Community-Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is dedicated to providing accessible specialized healthcare services across Africa. Operating as both a healthcare social enterprise and through community development programs, CCBRT focuses on preventing lifelong disabilities while offering maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) services, including obstetric fistula repairs. Since 2005, CCBRT has extended its reach through the House of Hope in Moshi, providing rehabilitation services and inclusive development initiatives.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Attendant to join our rehabilitation center in Moshi. The ideal candidate will support healthcare providers and ensure the smooth operation of clinical services while offering assistance to clients and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers in patient care and support services at CCBRT Moshi.
Prepare clinical workstations, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and functional.
Transport patients, medical equipment, and supplies between units to enhance workflow and optimize patient flow within CCBRT Moshi.
Provide health education to clients and their guardians.
Manage visiting hours and oversee client relatives to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Form 4 Certificate plus one-year basic nursing training or certificate in social welfare from a government-recognized institution.
Minimum of one year of working experience in a similar role.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Good communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the team.
Basic computer skills are an added advantage.
