We are seeking a Project Coordinator Assistant to support our operations in Liwale, Lindi. This role involves administrative coordination, liaison with local authorities, and facilitating communication to ensure the smooth execution of MSF projects.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Context Monitoring & Stakeholder Engagement
- Gather and analyze contextual information to support decision-making.
- Maintain updated records of key contacts, including government officials, NGOs, and community leaders.
- Facilitate effective engagement with local authorities and other stakeholders.
🔹 Administrative & Communication Support
- Assist the Project Coordinator in drafting official correspondence.
- Organize and support internal and external communication initiatives to enhance MSF’s visibility.
- Schedule advocacy meetings and appointments with local partners and authorities.
🔹 Translation & Interpretation
- Translate documents and provide interpretation services as needed.
- Conduct briefings for new team members on the project’s context.
- Facilitate internal coordination through meeting organization and information dissemination.
Who We’re Looking For
✔️ Education: University degree in Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
✔️ Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role, preferably in humanitarian aid or NGOs.
✔️ Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet applications.
✔️ Languages: Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
✔️ Competencies:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Diplomatic communication and negotiation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work environments
