Job Purpose
CRDB Bank Plc is looking for highly skilled Software Developers to design, build, test, and implement innovative business applications that align with the bank’s strategic goals. This role involves developing new software solutions, optimizing existing applications, and ensuring top-tier performance while maintaining quality and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Integration
✔ Write clean, efficient, and scalable code that aligns with business requirements.
✔ Develop and integrate technical components for seamless system functionality.
✔ Ensure applications perform optimally by conducting regular tuning and maintenance.
✔ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects to enhance system efficiency.
Database & System Architecture
✔ Read, analyze, and implement system specifications into optimized database designs.
✔ Develop well-structured, reusable software components to enhance efficiency.
✔ Adhere to enterprise application architecture principles and best practices.
Testing & Quality Assurance
✔ Create and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure system stability.
✔ Work with industry-leading software quality tools to maintain high standards.
✔ Participate in agile development processes, focusing on iterative improvements.
Security & Compliance
✔ Ensure adherence to CRDB Bank’s security policies and application architecture principles.
✔ Apply best practices and frameworks that align with enterprise software strategy.
Support & Maintenance
✔ Provide post-installation support to users and systems for smooth operations.
✔ Identify and implement necessary configuration changes to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications & Skills Required
🎓 Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Agile/Scrum/DevOps certifications are an added advantage.
🛠 Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in the software development industry.
- Strong coding skills in modern programming languages & frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, system integration, and debugging.
- Ability to work with Agile methodologies for iterative development.
