Job Purpose

CRDB Bank Plc is seeking a Zonal Business Support professional to enhance branch performance by driving business growth, optimizing digital platform adoption, and conducting in-depth market analysis. This role involves tracking financial performance, providing data-driven insights, and spearheading initiatives to support zonal and branch-level sales activities. The ultimate goal is to boost profitability, streamline financial planning, and ensure data-driven decision-making within the Northern Zone.

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance & Analysis

✔ Conduct performance reviews for branches through detailed data analysis, ensuring alignment with sales targets and annual budgets.
✔ Deliver insightful reports to Zone Managers and leadership, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
✔ Develop business forecasts and analyze budget performance, collaborating on budget proposals and enhancements.

Sales & Digital Growth Support

✔ Assist branches in expanding digital banking solutions, including Internet Banking, Sim Banking, and Card Services.
✔ Work closely with the Value Chain Unit to enhance business growth using a structured value chain approach.
✔ Organize and coordinate forums, marketing campaigns, and roadshows to promote banking products.

Client Onboarding & Relationship Management

✔ Facilitate seamless onboarding of new clients, ensuring account activation and retention.
✔ Guide branches in proper customer segmentation to maximize Non-Funded Income (NFI).
✔ Act as a bridge between Head Office units and branches to ensure full support for all initiatives.

Training & Process Improvement

✔ Provide training to new and temporary staff on bank products and services.
✔ Identify challenges affecting wallet share growth and recommend strategies for improvement.
✔ Ensure continuous process optimization for enhanced client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Customer Focus Functions

📌 Timely and accurate business & data support
📌 Effective relationship management with Zone, Branch, and Head Office teams

Qualifications & Skills Required

🎓 Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent
  • Additional certification in business analytics & data management is an added advantage

🛠 Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in branch operations
  • Strong expertise in business performance analytics
  • Excellent data management & reporting skills
  • Solid knowledge of bank products & services
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills
  • Strong adaptability, teamwork, and organizational skills
