About the Assignment
Vi Agroforestry is inviting applications for a Short-Term Consultancy to conduct a two-day training focused on extension systems and participatory methods for sustainable agriculture. The training will be delivered to Farmer Organizations (FOs) across Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda as part of the Agroforestry for Sustainable Livelihood and Biodiversity (ASILI-B) program.
This initiative seeks to empower farmers, enhance agricultural productivity, strengthen resilience to climate change, and promote food security through practical, hands-on learning.
Scope of the Training
The consultant will be responsible for:

Delivering engaging, practical training sessions on participatory extension methods.

Developing tailored training modules that address:

Effective communication techniques for farmer outreach.

Best practices in sustainable farming and agroforestry.

Strategies to improve market access for smallholder farmers.

Adoption of climate-smart agricultural technologies.
โ Ensuring knowledge transfer and capacity building among farmers for long-term sustainability.
