🔨 Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
✔ Oversee all civil construction activities related to the hydropower project, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and up to standard.
✔ Monitor project specifications, safety protocols, and quality compliance.
✔ Maintain comprehensive construction records, including daily reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.
✔ Supervise deep excavation, heavy foundation works, and structural steel reinforcement.
✔ Oversee the placement of heavy-duty concrete, surge tank construction, penstock upstream sections, and gravity dam works.
✔ Manage project coordination and problem-solving, ensuring seamless execution of construction activities.
🎯 Essential Competencies & Skills
🔹 Strong background in hydropower infrastructure construction, including run-of-the-river hydropower plants.
🔹 Proven experience in dam construction, deep excavation, and foundation works.
🔹 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software (preferred).
🔹 Expertise in heavy-duty concrete placement, steel reinforcement, and embedded structures.
🔹 Ability to coordinate multiple project aspects while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
✅ BSc in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
✅ Extensive experience in hydropower and dam construction.
✅ Strong familiarity with hydropower plant infrastructure, surge tanks, and penstocks.
✅ Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
