🔹 About the Role
NMB Bank PLC is seeking three (3) skilled Quality Assurance Testers to join our team. The selected candidates will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and reliability of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅ Software Quality Assurance & Testing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software meets business and user expectations.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across multiple platforms.
- Utilize manual and automation testing to achieve optimal coverage.
- Act as the guardian of quality, ensuring that software is reliable, secure, and user-friendly.
✅ Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and business analysts to clarify project requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scripts and defining acceptance criteria.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies by adopting new tools and industry best practices.
✅ Defect Tracking & Resolution:
- Identify, document, and meticulously track defects using established bug-tracking systems.
- Work alongside developers to resolve issues and perform regression testing on fixes.
- Oversee pilot testing to ensure new features perform effectively in real-world scenarios.
✅ Risk & Compliance Management:
- Ensure testing aligns with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Monitor production systems and analyze user feedback to enhance product quality.
🔹 Required Qualifications & Experience
🎓 Education:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
📌 Experience & Certifications:
✔ Minimum 3 years of software testing experience (preferably in the financial industry).
✔ ISTQB Foundation Level certification (highly desirable).
✔ Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit (a plus).
✔ Basic programming skills in Python or Java (advantageous).
✔ Experience in business analysis and system design.
✔ Exposure to Agile methodologies and performance/security testing (a plus).
📌 Technical & Soft Skills:
✔ Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
✔ Expertise in functional, non-functional, performance, security, and usability testing.
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
✔ Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
✔ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
