Position: Support Services Coordinator

- Reports to: Construction Manager

- Contract: Specified Period of Time Contract
Position Purpose:
The Support Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the Site Construction Manager and HR Manager, ensuring efficient and effective site operations. You will oversee essential services such as facilities management, transportation, and travel coordination, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for both local and international movements.
Key Responsibilities:
People Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with support service contractors to ensure seamless operations.
- Supervise and mentor subordinates, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
- Work closely with department heads to meet and exceed departmental KPIs.
- Oversee the smooth execution of maintenance schedules and project timelines.
Operations & Coordination:
- Organize VIP visits and handle logistics, including reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Manage travel logistics (international and local) while ensuring compliance with the company’s Travel Policy.
- Plan space allocation and manage site resources efficiently.
- Coordinate events and lead support service teams for smooth operation.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping for cost control and internal audits.
Contractor and Resource Management:
- Assist in the preparation of tenders and ensure contractor work meets expectations.
- Oversee resource utilization, including vehicles and drivers.
- Review and update policies to reflect industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related Social Science field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality or mining sector.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
