Role Overview: HR & Administration Manager

We are looking for a Human Resource & Administration Manager who will take a leadership role in managing our HR department. This position is critical in ensuring ABA achieves its corporate objectives by optimizing its most valuable asset – its people. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic HR policies, leading administrative functions, and fostering a positive work environment.

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Position: Human Resource & Administration Manager

Basic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management

Additional Qualification: Master’s Degree in HR or a related field (preferred)

Minimum Experience: 3+ years in HR Management

Job Purpose

As the HR & Administration Manager, you will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with ABA’s corporate objectives. You will develop, manage, and execute innovative and effective HR practices, ensuring that the firm maximizes employee potential and maintains a strong commitment to employee development. You will also oversee administrative functions, ensuring the smooth running of operations across all service lines.

Key Responsibilities

As the HR & Administration Manager at ABA Alliance, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic HR Management: Develop, implement, and monitor HR strategies that align with ABA’s corporate goals, ensuring these strategies are forward-thinking and aligned with best practices.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee satisfaction and well-being to enhance productivity and commitment.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent while ensuring continuous employee development through training and mentorship programs.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the implementation of effective performance management systems that support growth, accountability, and high performance across the organization.
  • Policy Development: Create and maintain HR policies, protocols, and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while promoting efficiency and employee welfare.
  • Administrative Oversight: Manage all administrative functions to ensure seamless operations and support to all departments within the organization.
  • Human Capital Strategy: Design and execute human capital strategies that support the firm's long-term growth and ensure the effective utilization of resources.
