Job Description: The Maintenance Controller will drive costs to an optimal level by coordinating financial planning and performance activities. This role includes overseeing the annual budget, reporting monthly actuals, analyzing data, and managing the full-year forecast outlook. The role will also focus on KPI management, Capex management, and providing timely business analysis and insights to support decision-making.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the price change process in SAP.
- Prepare and analyze BU Sales (COF) Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, identifying opportunities to improve financial results.
- Lead the budget process for BU Sales (COF) in accordance with Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) principles.
- Monitor the monthly budget and provide challenges where necessary.
- Set and track budgets, monitor spending, and determine ROI for various categories, including trade marketing.
- Create monthly P&Ls for leadership review.
- Develop P&Ls to support the strategic plans (1-Year Plan and 5-Year Plan).
- Manage systems to track revenues and expenses and set up audit processes for them.
- Provide relevant analysis to the PPM/Revenue Director to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Identify savings opportunities and potential overspending risks.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent numerical abilities.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- High computer literacy and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong customer service focus and good interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in finance (BCom/Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent).
- CPA (T) qualification is advantageous.
- At least three years of experience in finance.
- Technical skills in Tax, GAAP, IFRS, and Sarbox.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
