Role Overview
As a Markets Sales Dealer, you’ll report directly to the Head of Markets Sales and play a crucial role in implementing NBC's market strategies. You'll have a unique chance to develop and introduce new financial products tailored to local market needs, engage closely with clients, and work alongside various bank divisions, ensuring seamless operations in market sales dealings. Your daily activities will include onboarding clients, managing client portfolios, and implementing risk management products, all while supporting the bank’s sales growth and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development: Collaborate on the development of new financial products in line with market demands and NBC’s strategic goals.
- Client Portfolio Management: Manage your own client portfolio, ensuring growth, retention, and satisfaction.
- Sales and Customer Service: Spend time meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting NBC’s full product range to deliver high-quality service.
- Risk Management: Adhere to bank policies and maintain a strong compliance culture.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on portfolio performance to the Head of Markets Sales.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally with an understanding of foreign exchange and interest rate markets.
- An ACI Dealing Certificate is preferred.
- Strong communication and sales skills, along with an understanding of political and economic factors affecting the market.
