Our Biomedical Engineer will oversee the supply, installation, and servicing of biomedical equipment in healthcare and laboratory environments. In this role, you’ll ensure the safety and functionality of medical devices, provide essential technical support to our clients, and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure that high-quality equipment arrives on time and meets Shubtec standards.
- Equipment Installation & Maintenance: Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of biomedical devices.
- Client Support & Training: Provide hands-on training to healthcare professionals, ensuring they fully understand the safe operation and handling of all devices.
- Documentation & Quality Control: Maintain detailed service records, track maintenance activities, and constantly look for ways to improve service quality.
- Supplier Relations: Negotiate with suppliers to enhance cost efficiency and elevate equipment standards, ensuring we deliver only the best to our clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:Minimum of 2 years in biomedical engineering with a focus on medical equipment supply, installation, and maintenance.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of medical devices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client training and support.
- A deep understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Certification:
Certification in biomedical engineering is preferred, though not mandatory.
