Position: Works Inspector — Drainage/Structure

Key Responsibilities:

As a Works Inspector, you’ll be engaged in tasks crucial to the success of TANROADS projects, including:

  1. Structural Review and Inspection: Reviewing all structural drawings, reports, and materials to ensure they meet national standards.
  2. Compliance Checks: Ensuring completed works and materials comply with technical specifications.
  3. Project Tracking: Preparing progress reports, control charts, and master schedules to monitor project completion timelines.
  4. Quantitative Measurements: Measuring the quantities of completed works for accurate reporting and cost control.
  5. Site Diary Maintenance: Keeping detailed site diaries for each project phase.
  6. Qualifications and Requirements:
  7. Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  8. Professional Registration: Must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer.
  9. Experience: Minimum of three years in drainage or related civil engineering fields.
  10. Readiness to Work in Kilimanjaro Region: Candidates must be ready to commit to the location for the duration of the project.

Terms of Employment:

  • Contract: This is a one-year specified contract.
