About Milele Zanzibar Foundation (MZF)
The Milele Zanzibar Foundation (MZF), established in 2014, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the sustainable development and improved quality of life for rural communities in Zanzibar. Through collaboration with government authorities and local communities, MZF implements initiatives that address poverty, particularly in rural areas, with a focus on health, education, and livelihoods.
MZF’s vision is to foster vibrant, sustainable, and resilient rural communities, while its mission is to accelerate progress through holistic and community-led development programs.
MZF is launching a new initiative titled “Accelerating Growth and Sustainability of Women and Youth-Led Horticulture Enterprises.” This project aims to strengthen the horticultural value chain by empowering women and youth-led MSMEs through enhanced capacity, access to information, markets, and capital.
