Role Overview
Position: Waiter/Waitress
Location: Karatu, Arusha
Reporting to: Restaurant Supervisor
Vacancy: 1 Post
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our dining experience, creating warm interactions with guests and delivering exceptional service that upholds our reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Present a polished appearance, including wearing a badge.
- Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, and provide detailed menu information.
- Highlight daily specials and recommend menu options to enhance the dining experience.
- Take accurate orders and liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and correct delivery of meals.
- Serve food and beverages professionally and courteously.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and follow health department regulations.
- Handle billing and payments efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate or diploma in hotel management.
- Hands-on experience with cash registers and ordering systems.
- A patient, attentive, and customer-focused approach.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- High personal hygiene standards and a team spirit.
