NMB Bank PLC is seeking an innovative and results-driven Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of digital payment and collection solutions within our Global Transaction Services division. This role is critical in shaping strategies, managing risks, and driving innovation to deliver superior transaction banking services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Direction
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager to develop and align the digital payment and collection product strategy with global transaction services.
- Manage product capabilities across various payment services and ensure risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze market trends and integrate insights to refine product positioning, pricing, and development pipelines.
- Engage with clients to craft comprehensive solutions, including APIs, UIs, tools, and process changes.
- Develop data-driven capabilities to enhance customer insights and experiences.
- Align the product roadmap with business priorities, long-term goals, and partnership opportunities.
- Support sales, marketing, and communication efforts for digital platform capabilities.
Operational and Business Management
- Address significant processing issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolutions.
- Lead product implementation processes, capturing client requirements and collaborating with technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure smooth market introduction of new products by balancing client customization needs with core product features.
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration for consistent product delivery and management.
- Develop and monitor detailed implementation plans and ensure proper execution of sales programs.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and complaints, improving satisfaction levels.
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge and Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of Tanzanian banking products and global financial services trends.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and consumer buying behavior.
- Strong analytical, planning, and business management skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency and experience in data management and reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Team leadership and professional report writing abilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in product management within a reputable bank or financial institution.
