Project Team Lead – Street Outreach and Child Protection (PTL-SOCP)

Reporting To: Project Manager, based in Dar es Salaam.

This pivotal role will lead, supervise, and support project staff engaged in street outreach and child protection efforts. The Project Team Lead will ensure the effective planning and execution of daily activities, maintaining high standards in the delivery of Street Outreach Work and Safeguarding (Child Protection) initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision and support to all social workers within the street outreach department.
  • Oversee and guide the planning, coordination, and implementation of daily project activities.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safeguarding and child protection standards.
  • Compile and submit comprehensive weekly and monthly activity reports to the Project Manager.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of program objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in managing child protection or outreach programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • In-depth understanding of child safeguarding protocols and practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  • Commitment to RCA’s mission of transforming the lives of street children.
