Ramada Resort is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to oversee and enhance the operations of our Food and Beverage department. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service across all outlets while maintaining the highest standards and maximizing profitability. Key Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, your duties will include:
Operations and Guest Experience:
- Organizing and managing departmental operations for optimal service delivery.
- Supervising table service, ensuring proper sequencing, and monitoring food quality to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Addressing guest complaints and resolving issues promptly to exceed expectations.
Team Development and Coordination:
- Recruiting, training, and motivating restaurant service staff to create a positive working environment.
- Conducting regular performance assessments to optimize team productivity.
- Ensuring staff adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
Sales, Strategy, and Budgeting:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Food and Beverage promotions, strategies, and events in collaboration with the Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef.
- Striving to meet and exceed sales targets while managing costs effectively.
- Preparing and managing the departmental budget in alignment with business forecasts.
Compliance and Maintenance:
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and legislative requirements, keeping the Food and Beverage Manager informed of any issues or adjustments needed.
- Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of venues.
Innovation and Quality Assurance:
- Introducing new ideas, methods, and practices to enhance operations and guest experiences.
- Maintaining and updating standard operating procedures for food service to ensure top-quality delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A University Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Food and Beverage management, preferably in multi-outlet operations.
- Proven ability to manage multicultural teams with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and Google Suite.
