Your Mission

The Senior Accounts Administrator plays a crucial role in financial operations by ensuring seamless accounting processes, compliance with statutory regulations, and effective reporting in alignment with Epiroc's global standards.

This role will oversee local accounting functions, financial analysis, tax compliance, and cash flow management while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and record financial transactions with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with Accounting to Reporting (A2R), Purchase to Pay (P2P), and Order to Cash (O2C) for accurate ERP data booking.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including Group Reporting.

Accounts & Cash Flow Management

  • Follow up on customer receivables and ensure timely reconciliation of supplier accounts.
  • Support cash flow forecasting, asset verification, and financial audits.

Statutory Compliance & Tax Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (NSSF, PAYE, SDL, WHT, HESLB).
  • Assist with Income Tax and VAT returns, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure full regulatory compliance.

Process Improvement & Development

  • Participate in Epiroc Group projects, internal audits, and efficiency improvements.
  • Share knowledge within the team and engage in continuous professional development.

Other Duties

  • Provide additional support as required on an ad hoc basis.

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Professional certification (ACCA or CPA membership) is required.

Experience & Technical Expertise:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a multinational organization or chartered accounting firm.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory and tax compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel skills preferred).
  • ERP system experience is an added advantage.

  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and consistency.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
