Position: Senior Supervisor (1 Post)

Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam

Role Overview

The Senior Supervisor will take a leadership role in ensuring the safety and security of assigned premises, assets, and personnel. This individual will oversee the security team, assess performance, and develop comprehensive training programs to enhance the team's effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee the daily activities of security personnel.
  • Develop and implement training and development plans for security staff.
  • Lead security teams in surveillance and safety measures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify physical and safety hazards.
  • Perform investigations and conduct interviews related to security incidents.
  • Organize and lead emergency response drills.
  • Carry out regular patrols of assigned areas.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Security Supervisor.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email management.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.

Additional Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Kiswahili and English.
  • Valid driver’s license for both motorcycles and other vehicles.
  • Integrity and a strong sense of moral character.
  • Proven leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and quick decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in team-based environments.
