Position Overview:
The Management Trainee role is designed to prepare candidates for the position of Assistant Branch Manager. The position offers comprehensive training in branch operations, including sales, marketing, customer service, human resource management, inventory management, and financial control. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growth-oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing:
- Assist sales representatives in welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products and services.
- Support the implementation of sales and marketing strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor branch sales performance and identify opportunities for growth in coordination with the Branch Manager (BM) and Assistant Branch Manager (ABM).
Customer Service:
- Analyze customer feedback and promptly address complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Oversee the overall customer experience, ensuring high satisfaction levels across all customer segments.
Human Resource Management:
- Monitor adherence to labor policies and human resource guidelines.
- Support the recommendation of staff promotions and oversee branch-level HR activities.
- Identify training needs and ensure team members receive appropriate development opportunities.
- Foster a motivated and cohesive team environment at the branch.
Building and Plant Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure premises and assets are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of company assets.
Administration and Operations:
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
- Ensure efficient workshop and inventory management, including physical stock takes.
- Manage branch-level receivables, petty cash, and company documentation in line with policies.
- Maintain safety and security of company assets, ensuring compliance with risk management protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail or B2C business environment.
- Familiarity with the automotive retail sector, tyre industry, or spare parts industry is an added advantage.
- Practical business management skills and computer literacy are essential.
